Monali Ardeshna is a sophomore in the Accelerated 7 Year Physician Scientist Program with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College. She is very passionate about medicine and research and currently works in a structural bioinformatics lab at RPI. Monali began pursuing her passion for research early in high school, so she can offer advice on obtaining research experiences as a high school student in order to be a more competitive BS/MD applicant.

Along with her research experience, Monali enjoys mentoring and working with younger students. She has mentored girls interested in STEM from under-resourced schools in Dallas through a nonprofit she founded called Let Her Learn. She has also tutored middle and high school students in a wide variety of subjects. Monali has experience with college application advising and served as the Director of Special Programs for College Process Prep. She applied to and interviewed for several BS/MD programs during her own college application process so she is knowledgeable about the different combined degree programs. Monali is very excited to guide students in their application and interview process through PremedHQ.
