Steven is a current Pediatric Resident at Hasbro Children’s Hospital with Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated from Albany Medical College (AMC) as part of the Union College/AMC Leadership in Medicine Combined BS/MD Program. Nominated by his peers for the Gold Humanism Honor Society, Steven has been recognized by his class as providing compassionate patient-centered care as well as being a collaborative member of the medical team. Steven continues to mentor medical students as a teaching resident, and during his time at AMC, he worked with the AMC Admissions Department to co-lead the Orientation for the Class of 2023. Prior to medical school, Steven jointly attended Union College and Clarkson University as part of the combined degree program and graduated with both his BS in Biology/Psychology and MBA in Healthcare Administration, respectively. During his undergraduate experience, Steven was heavily involved in the Union College Admissions Department acting as a tour guide, informational session leader, and interviewer for the combined degree program. He also individually mentored students as part of the Minerva Mentor program and assisted students in their transition to college. In his free time, Steven enjoys staying active by working out at his local gym, trying out all the local food spots in Providence, and winding down with reading in the evening.

As a Resident Pediatrician, Steven wholeheartedly understands the importance of communication and guidance when it comes to interacting with his patients and their parents. With his experience in the admissions departments for both Union College and AMC, he believes that he can provide useful insights from both sides of the application process for combined degree programs. He joined the PreMedHQ team because he loves mentoring and is excited to be part of the team!
